
The South East LLEN in conjunction with Jayco and Chisholm is offering 12 School Based Apprenticeships in Recreational Vehicle Manufacturing to young people in the South East region.
The Jayco Program enables students to gain hands on experience in the manufacturing industry and gives them the opportunity to obtain a Certificate III in Recreational Vehicle Manufacturing (RVM) while still completing school.
Successful applicants will do paid work one day per week at Jayco (Wednesdays) of formal on the job training and attend on one other day (Fridays) visited by a trainer to complete their study component.
The full certificate is a combination of Certificate III(RVM) combined with four selected units from Certificate II in Competitive Manufacturing.
The duration of the “Manufactured Futures” Program for each student is two years. At the completion of the two year program, the students will have the opportunity to commence full time employment with Jayco.
