The South East LLEN in partnership with the City of Casey Youth Services are holding a  90 minute parent forum to assist parents to navigate their way through their child’s primary to secondary transitions and career options!

In the forum parents will be guided through,

  • The My School website by a representative from ACARA
  • Your child’s tranistion points
  • Your child’s career planning pathway options

The forum will be held at the City of Casey Civic Centre,

Chamber 1, Magid Drive, Narre Warren (Melways ref 110 D4)

On Wednesday 8 September 2010

7.00pm  – 8.30pm

Light refereshments will be provided

MYAG meets on the first Tuesday of every month from 11 – 12.30pm at the SERMRC.

On 8 February 2010, the Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Senator Chris Evans, announced the following changes to the General Skilled Migration program:

  • the outcomes of a review of the Migration Occupations in Demand List (MODL)
  • the replacement of the current Skilled Occupation List (SOL) in the second half of 2010
  • offshore GSM visas made before 1 September 2007 would be capped and ceased
  • priority processing arrangements
  • skills assessment requirements for GSM applicants nominating a trade occupation.
