
Paul Di Masi
Chief Executive Officer
After spending almost ten years as a secondary school teacher, Paul Di-Masi spent some time as a campaign worker with Friends of the Earth and then worked in a number of increasingly senior local development and local economic development roles with the State Government, including managing the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) delivery to small rural communities through out Victoria.
In 1995, Paul was appointed the foundation Executive Officer of the National NEIS Network and worked with a national network of community, not for profit and for profit business training providers and liaised closely with the Commonwealth Government.In 1997, Paul relocated to Indonesia to manage an 11 month joint World Bank- Republic of Indonesia project revising the Indonesian Government’s Youth Entrepreneurship development program. At the end of this project, Paul continued working in Indonesia across a range of areas of interest and expertise including local community economic development, microfinance programs, community relations, business network development and development and maintenance of not for profit organisations. Clients included the International Labour Organisation, the Indonesian Department of Cooperatives, the Asia Pacific Resource Development Network, the German Economic Development agency GTZ and a number of multi national mining companies including - an 18 month appointment as lead Community Development - Community Relations consultant to a major Newmont Mining project in eastern Indonesia. His portfolio of work included pro bono work with Indonesia grass roots not for profit organisations.
Paul returned to live in Australia in March 2001 and was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the South East LLEN in May of that year.

Shannon Cheal
LLEN Executive Officer
After four years working as a temporary employee in various corporate environments while studying History at La Trobe University, Shannon commenced work at SE LLEN in April 2002 as a Workplace Coordinator with the LCP.
The following year Shannon moved into the LLEN Project Manager role overseeing various initiatives including the South East Industry Cadetship Program, On Track Connect and the Supply Chain Management RealJobz@ Expo.
Shannon commenced her current role at the beginning of 2007. She holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in History, a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment & Training and is currently undertaking a Master of Arts in Social Policy.
Shannon has over ten years experience in various volunteer leadership roles with young people.

Alex joined SELLEN in December 2006 as a Community Partnerships Coordinator. Alex’s background includes 20 years working with Dandenong Basketball Association as the Head coach of the Dandenong Rangers Women’s National League team, Youth Development Manager, Basketball Manager, Elite Programs Manager, Marketing and Sponsorship Manager and General Manager. |
